Abstract
A pedagogical parable illustrating the first complementarity relation for gravitational decoherence. Two children on a seesaw partition a shared resource—when one rises, the other falls. Balance reveals a third child at the pivot, taking a share that was invisible during the tilt. The sum falling below unity signals a hidden channel. The parable maps onto the Diosi-Penrose model: left seat = coherence decay, right seat = anomalous heating, tilt = measurement angle θ, balance = θ = 45, pivot = dominance axis, third child hidden decoherence channel.
